AHNS TRAVEL GRANT AWARDS

Attention all Presenting Authors,

Application forms for the AHNS Travel Grants are now available to eligible candidates.  Eligible candidates are Ph.D. or M.D. students, residents, fellows, or postdoctoral fellows in training in the United States who have a research-oriented abstract selected for oral or poster presentation at the Research Workshop on the Biology, Prevention and Treatment of Head & Neck Cancer.

Approximately (20) twenty travel grants will be available.  Funds are to support travel costs and to partially cover housing expenses and will average $1,000.  Young investigators are encouraged to share rooms in order to help cover the cost of housing.

To Apply:

  1. Complete the application form and return it to the AHNS Office no later than
    September 3, 2010.

  2. Include a brief statement on your career goals.
  3. Include a letter from your Program Director verifying your status.

Notifications regarding your award status will be sent out on September 17, 2010.

The AHNS Travel Grants are supported by a generous grant from
the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).
