Biography/Statement

Hello, my name is Erivelto Volpi, and I am a Head and Neck Surgeon, specialized in thyroid and parathyroid diseases. Nowadays, I exercise my professional activities in my office in São Paulo and at the Oncology Center of Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz and Hospital e Maternidade Santa Joana Women’s Hospital, in a unit specialized in thyroid diseases in pregnancy. I am also a Professor at Cetrus College, where I am responsible for a Postgraduate Course in Thyroid and Parathyroid Diseases, and I also organize a Course on Thyroid Node Ablation by Radio Frequency. For 30 years, I worked at the University of Sao Paulo – Hospital das Clínicas.
