This webinar will highlight how multidisciplinary care happens with examples from representatives from different disease teams. Multidisciplinary care of patients is often quoted, but rarely understood except by those who are part of a disease team. How do team members of different expertise reach consensus for patient care? How does this dialogue take place, and what are the important data elements needed to have this discussion? Through presentation of controversial treatment cases, two experienced multidisciplinary teams will show how discussions unfold and treatment plan consensus is reached.

At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:
• Appreciate how tumor teams achieve consensus for patient care
• Infer the knowledge and expertise needed to develop treatment plans for complex patients
• Understand curative vs. palliative approaches to patient care

This one-hour session is free to all registrants!
