Fellowship Match

Eligibility: All applicants to the AHNS Advanced Training Council fellowships must be board eligible for one of these three ABMS boards – The American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, the American Board of Surgery, or the American Board of Plastic Surgery or these equivalent boards in Canada.

Membership Requirement: All fellowship applicants are required to be an AHNS member or to have an AHNS membership application submitted and in process before the Fellowship Match occurs. [NOTE – Applicants who have completed their medical education outside of the US or Canada are not required to be AHNS members, as they are not participating in the fellowship match process. *Letters of recommendation for AHNS Fellowship Applications can be submitted to the applicant directly, OR to jj Jackman in the AHNS Administrative Office – email PDF copies of the recommendation letter to [email protected] and please indicate the name of the fellowship applicant in the subject line of the email. We will upload the letter to the application.

**AHNS Accredited programs are invited to list their fellowship interview dates on this calendar – they are not required to list them, and names of interview candidates will not appear – this calendar is for general information only. Send your interview dates to [email protected].

For Fellowships beginning: July 1, 2024
Application Period: Monday, December 12, 2022 – Friday, March 3, 2023  Friday, March 17, 2023 *Deadline Extended*
Interview Period: Friday, March 17, 2023 – Monday, June 26, 2023
Ranking list opens for Programs and Applicants: Monday, June 26, 2023
Ranking list closes – Monday, July 10, 2023
Match results announced: Friday, July 14, 2023
