Biographical Information

Aru Panwar, MD FACS is a board certified Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist and an Associate Professor of Surgery, at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center and Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska.

 

Dr Panwar’s practice is focused on prevention, diagnosis and treatment for head and neck cancers. His clinical interests include thyroid and parathyroid disease, trans-oral laser and robotic surgery for head and neck cancers. He chairs the AHNS behavioral health taskforce and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His research is focused optimizing perioperative care pathways and enhancing survivorship experiences of patients with head and neck cancers with specific focus on behavioral health outcomes. He enjoys mentoring students and residents, and has won numerous teaching awards.
