Dr. Mohammad Hararah, MD, MPH, is a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon with Sutter Medical Group and Sutter Medical Center Sacramento. He specializes in the multidisciplinary treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the head and neck, including mucosal head and neck cancers, advanced cutaneous malignancies, salivary gland tumors, thyroid and parathyroid disease, and complex skull base pathology.

Dr. Hararah completed advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His surgical practice includes transoral robotic surgery, complex ablative surgery of the oral cavity, pharynx, and larynx, comprehensive neck dissection, endocrine surgery, salivary gland surgery, and microvascular free-flap reconstruction. He has particular expertise in restoring speech, swallowing, appearance, and quality of life following head and neck cancer treatment through advanced reconstructive techniques.

At Sutter, Dr. Hararah is helping build a regional center of excellence for head and neck oncology and complex reconstruction, serving patients throughout Northern California and the Central Valley. He works closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, speech-language pathology, dentistry, and supportive-care teams to provide individualized, multidisciplinary treatment plans. His clinical interests also include advanced thyroid cancer, recurrent and metastatic cutaneous malignancies, robotic surgery, and innovations in reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Hararah is committed to delivering compassionate, technically advanced care while supporting education, program development, and improved access to specialized head and neck cancer services.
