Members: How to Modify your profile
- Go to the AHNS Member Panel and click the “Create/Edit Your Public Profile” link there.
- Members are encouraged to add social media handles, in order to be tagged on AHNS Instagram and Twitter pages. Both AHNS members and non members can view profiles
- Log into your membership account and update your profile and bio

Ciarán Lane is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and an American Otolaryngology Board Eligible surgeon. He completed medical school and a Master's Degree in translational research at Dalhousie University and his residency training at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Lane went on to complete subspecialty fellowship training in head and neck oncology at the Pennsylvania State University and is a fellow of the American Head and Neck Society.
His practice includes comprehensive head and neck oncology, microvascular reconstruction, and skull base surgery. His research focus is on the translation of 3D imaging technologies to head and neck reconstruction and improving functional outcomes after surgery. Dr. Lane is a mentor and active teaching faculty for residents and medical students at the main academic hospital. He is the social media at the Journal of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and hosts a podcast highlighting the latest research in otolaryngology.
