Members: How to Modify your profile 

  • Go to the AHNS Member Panel and click the “Create/Edit Your Public Profile” link there.
  • Members are encouraged to  add social media handles, in order to be tagged on AHNS Instagram and Twitter pages.  Both AHNS members and non members can view profiles

Dr. Anfuso received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his Otolaryngology residency at West Virginia University. He completed his fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction.

His practice is dedicated exclusively to the surgical treatment of tumors of the head and neck including malignant and benign tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid, neck, mouth, throat, larynx, salivary glands, and skin. He also performs reconstructive surgery of complex defects of the head and neck, including microvascular reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Anfuso has a particular interest in the surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease. He performs over 300 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries per year including complex cases such as revision surgery and thyroid cancer surgery requiring removal of neck lymph nodes and other involved structures. He also performs in-office thyroid and parathyroid ultrasound and preoperative vocal cord assessment.
