Dr Jon Russell is the Founder of the Russell Center for Endocrine Health in Columbia, MD. Previously, he was the Director of the Multidisciplinary Johns Hopkins Thyroid Tumor Conference and also the Division Director for the Division of Head and Neck Endocrine Surgery at Johns Hopkins. He has led clinical trials in radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for thyroid cancer, remote access transoral thyroid surgery (TOETVA) and parathyroid autofluorescence. His interests include using the latest technology to improve patient safety and outcomes.

After nearly 10 years leading the Thyroid and Parathyroid surgery program at Johns Hopkins, Dr Jon Russell founded the Russell Center for Endocrine Health to improve access to patients who are interested in minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery techniques, and also those who want access to a very high volume head and neck endocrine surgeon with the lowest complication rates and newest techniques.
