Areas of Interest in Head and Neck Surgery
Head and Neck Surgeon, Reconstructive Head & Neck Surgery
After completing my medical school training in Nebraska I spent 5 years at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX for my Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency. I then came back to Nebraska and trained with Midwest Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in both Ablative and Reconstructive Head and Neck Surgery. I joined the group as the 7th surgeon and 3rd reconstructive surgeon.
We have one of the busiest Head and Neck Practices in the region with a focus specifically on head and neck cancer. This includes mucosal disease, advanced skin cancers, melanoma, thyroid and parathyroid cancers, sinonasal and advanced skull base tumors, and all aspects of head and neck reconstruction.
We continue to have a strong fellowship program and also train a multitude of residents from multiple specialties and institutionsincluding Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Oral Surgery.
We are active in outcomes research and are developing quality improvement processes to ensure we maintain our elite status providing the best evidence based care to our patients.
