Biography/Statement

Christopher Oliver, MD, is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and specializes in the management of benign and malignant tumors using minimally-invasive techniques. He is fellowship-trained in advanced head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery. He also specializes in cutaneous malignancies and reconstruction, HPV-related oral cancers, microvascular reconstruction and he commonly treats tumors of the parotid and thyroid.

Dr. Oliver has a strong interest in therapy geared towards the prevention of pain in the head and neck. Most of his treatments are geared to minimizing post operative pain for his patients. Dr. Oliver is a nationally recognized expert in this field, having been selected on multiple occasions to give instructional courses for other surgeons. Dr. Oliver knows that one of the most frightening aspects of surgery is the uncertainty of post operative pain, he takes the time to educate you regarding your treatment needs with specific focus on pain management.

Bibliography

Dr. Oliver earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at the Mayo School of Graduate Education.
