Biography/Statement

Dr. Goodman is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and specializes in Head & Neck surgical oncology with functional reconstruction. After residency at the George Washington University he completed fellowship in microvascular surgery at the University of Miami, also specializing in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS), skin cancers, and surgical treatment of salivary diseases, including salivary endoscopy. He was assigned to the National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) where he learned several acupuncture techniques under Richard Niemtzow, MD. Areas of research interest include: HPV-related cancers, cancer immunotherapy, and salivary gland diseases. He is a member of the AAOHNS, AHNS, and the Society for Integrative Oncology. He sits on several national committees including AAOHNS CIM and AHNS Survivorship.
