Biography/Statement

Lisa A. Orloff, MD, FACE, FACS, is Professor and Director of the Endocrine Head and Neck Surgery Program in the Department of Otolaryngology at Stanford University School of Medicine, and Director of the Thyroid Tumor Program at the Stanford Cancer Center. Her clinical practice focuses on the surgical and non-surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid tumors. Dr. Orloff’s work performing, teaching, understanding and expanding the role of ultrasound has transformed the manner in which thyroid and parathyroid patients are evaluated. Dr. Orloff also studies the genomics and metabolomics of thyroid cancer. She is a Fulbright scholar and she directs the AHNS-accredited Endocrine Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship at Stanford.
