Charge: The fundamental purpose of the AHNS Reconstructive Head and Neck Surgery Section is to improve and enhance care for patients in the field of head and neck reconstructive surgery through the pillars of education, research and mentorship while focusing on both quality and value of patient care.
Membership: The section welcomes members of the AHNS with special interest or expertise in all areas related to head and neck reconstruction, including local/regional/free tissue transfer, craniofacial surgery, facial reinnervation/reanimation, nerve regeneration, prosthetics/biomaterials and tissue engineering. The section is intended to serve as the ideal venue for thought leaders in reconstructive head and neck surgery to advance the field forward.
