Areas of surgical specialization in Head and Neck Surgery

Endocrine Surgery, Head and Neck Surgeon

Biography/Statement

My path in medicine started with a bachelor’s degree with honors from Georgetown University. This was followed by a Masters in Applied Physiology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science along with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Chicago Medical School in 2010.

I completed residency in Otolaryngology– Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. During this time, I served as an elected officer for the American Academy of Otolaryngology Section for Residents and Fellows, and held positions both nationally and locally within various medical societies.

I went on to pursue a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins University. The fellowship focused on advanced training in surgical oncology, robotic surgery, open skull base surgery, transoral laser microsurgery, and endocrine surgery.

My training at both institutions has equipped me with robust medical and surgical skills. I had the privilege to present research in robotic surgery at both local and national meetings and have authored and co-authored scientific articles and book chapters within the field of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.
