Biography/Statement

Dr. Horwich is a board certified head and neck surgical oncologist and reconstructive surgeon. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he completed undergraduate, medical school and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at Dalhousie University School of Medicine. He then completed two clinical fellowships in head and neck cancer surgery and microvascular reconstruction – the Medical University of South Carolina in 2019 and Louisiana State University at Shreveport in 2020. He also completed a Masters degree in education in 2021.

Dr. Glazer is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of the American Head and Neck Society. She is fellowship-trained in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction. Her specific areas of expertise include: head and neck cancer (mucosal, upper aerodigestive tract, cutaneous), reconstruction (both free tissue transfer and local flaps), Mohs reconstruction, neck mass, thyroid mass, and parotid mass. She also specializes in robotic surgery, laser surgery, and facial trauma. She is the residency program director.

Biography/Statement

Dr. Diane Chen is a dual fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist and surgical oncologist of the head and neck. After growing up in Dallas, TX, she attended Rice University in Houston, TX to study Biochemistry & Cell Biology. She then completed her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine, was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, and stayed at Baylor to complete her otolaryngology residency. During her training, she developed a passion for surgical oncology and managing complex tumors in both adults and pediatric patients. This led her to complete a Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN in 2021 followed by a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL in 2022.

She is currently an Assistant Professor at Indiana University Dept. of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Her clinical interests are in pediatric head and neck tumors and reconstruction.
