Main clinical interests are oral cavity and skin cancer management, as well as head and neck secondary reconstruction and facial palsy surgical management.

Biography/Statement

I obtained my bachelors of science degree in Biomedical Engineering as well as medical degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). I subsequently completed a residency in Otolaryngolog-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). I then transitioned into the role of the inaugural fellow in head and neck surgical oncology, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroids, transoral robotic surgery, and microvascular reconstruction also at UAMS. I subsequently joined Greater Knoxville ENT in Knoxville, Tennessee and will be seeing patients at 5 clinic locations in the area and performing procedures at both the University of Tennessee Medical Center – Knoxville (UTMCK) and North Knoxville Medical Center. I hope to add to the already present head and neck cancer care in the region utilizing the knowledge and skills I have acquired throughout my training.

Biography/Statement

Angela D. Haskins, MD is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. She grew up in a small farming community in South Georgia. She attended college at the University of Georgia. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and residency training at the University of Alabama Medical Center. She then completed fellowship training for head and neck oncology in addition to microvascular reconstructive surgery through the American Head & Neck Society at the Medical University of South Carolina. She specializes in surgical management of pathologies involving the head and neck skin, mouth, pharynx, larynx, saliva glands, thyroid, and parathyroid glands. She is also trained in plastic reconstruction of both small and large head and neck cancer ablative defects. She is a dedicated academician with a commitment to providing quality education and effective mentorship for medical students, graduate students, and resident trainees. She regularly participates in didactic lectures and educational events within and outside of the institution. She serves as a head and neck associate course director for Baylor’s medical school anatomy lab. She is a member of the medical school’s admissions committee. Finally, she serves as the Otolaryngology Specialty Specific Mentor for medical students pursuing Otolaryngology residency.

Dr. Eltelety is an Egyptian Surgeon currently holding the position of a Lecturer of Otolaryngology at Al Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine Cairo University. Dr. Eltelety is a USA double fellowship-trained endocrine and head and neck surgeon. He received his training at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University. Dr. Eltelety has special interest in head and neck ablative and reconstructive surgery and endocrine head and neck surgery.
