Mercy Health – Defiance Clinic | Defiance, Ohio

Position Overview

Mercy Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT) to join our well-established practice at Defiance Clinic in Defiance, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a collaborative clinic + hospital-based setting, with the added benefit of seamless connections to larger tertiary centers within Mercy Health’s regional network.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive community environment, enjoy a diverse patient panel, and be eager to grow a practice that serves both adult and geriatric populations.

Practice Highlights

  • Balanced Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour clinic days with shared call responsibility (weekend call as assigned).
  • Patient Volume: Average of 20–28 patients per day (adult and geriatric).
  • Procedures Commonly Performed:
    • Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy
    • Myringotomy & Tube Placement
    • Sinus Surgery
    • Thyroidectomy
    • Septoplasty
    • Frenulectomy
    • Tympanoplasty
    • Parotidectomy
  • Clinic Support: Dedicated LPNs and RNs, with access to on-site RT, Radiology, Lab, and Sleep Lab.
  • Ancillary Services: Radiology, PT/OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, and access to multiple specialty practices including surgery, cardiology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, wound care, neurology, oncology, pain management, pulmonary, behavioral health, and more.
