Banner – University Medical Group, in partnership with Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, is seeking an Otolaryngologist to join our Department of Otolaryngology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to academic excellence while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in Tucson.

Qualifications:

· Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Otolaryngology

· Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure

· DEA license with current prescribing privileges

· Commitment to academic and clinical excellence

· Interest and ability to help teach and mentor otolaryngology residents/medical students

· Sub-specialty interest and/or fellowship training is welcome, but not required

Practice Highlights:

· Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage

· Work schedule: M-F, approximately 3 days clinic and 2 days OR per week

· Average annual patient volumes: ~600 OR cases | ~3,000 clinic visits

· Practice call coverage: approximately 4 weeks per year

· Maxillofacial trauma call coverage: optional for extra pay

The position will have a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona, Tucson — Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery consistent with the candidate’s credentials. The UA Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery in Tucson offers comprehensive tertiary and general ENT care to patients from across Arizona; the department also provides otolaryngology residency training as one of only two ACGME-accredited otolaryngology residency programs in the state.
