Dr. Brumund is a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist in the Advanced Head & Neck, Cranial/Orbital/Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the Scripps Prebys Cancer Center. Prior to this he was on faculty at UCSD as Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Moores Cancer Center.  He specializes in the management of all Head and Neck Tumors, both benign and malignant.  A large part of his practice is the surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, especially thyroid cancer, and the utilization of point of care ultrasound.
