A native of Jackson, MS, I currently serve as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. I completed medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, and fellowship training in Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery, Anterior Skull Base Surgery, and Microvascular Reconstruction at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I am active in all areas of head and neck surgery, including aerodigestive tract malignancies, endocrine surgery, paranasal sinus tumors, salivary gland surgery, and microvascular reconstruction. I completed a Masters of Clinical and Translational Research at Georgetown University in 2024, and my reconstructive interests include alternatives to the radial forearm free flap for soft tissue reconstruction in the head and neck, minimally invasive approaches for salivary surgery, and functional outcomes after head and neck surgery. I live in Washington, DC, with my wife Taylor, and our children Maristella and Gianluca.
