Jonathan Bernstein qualified from the University of Bristol in 2002 and commenced clinical training in Bristol and Manchester. He completed a two-year period of full-time translational research in head and neck oncology at the Christie cancer centre, and was awarded a doctorate for his thesis.  Jonathan undertook fellowship training at University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto one of the largest head and neck cancer and thyroid/parathyroid programmes in North America. There, he developed advanced skills in the management and surgical treatment of the full spectrum of head and neck, thyroid and parathyroid tumours, with focus on microsurgery.

Jonathan works at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust - Charing Cross and St Mary’s Hospitals - as consultant specialising in head and neck surgery. Jonathan enjoys teaching and working on the question writing groups for the Royal College of Surgeons membership and fellowship examinations.

Mr Bernstein consults privately at:

  • HCA The Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood, London

Jonathan goes the extra mile to provide a prompt, holistic and collaborative service to his all patients and he takes a very attentive approach to surgery.
