Dr. Janice L. Farlow, MD PhD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. She is a graduate of a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Center. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan / Michigan Medicine, where she served as administrative chief resident her final year. She is a graduate of the Medical Scientist Training Program at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she completed a PhD in Medical and Molecular Genetics. Her research interest lies in development of personalized diagnostics, biomarkers, and treatments for head and neck malignancies. She has published and presented on topics including head and neck cancer outcomes, clinical decision support systems, organizational leadership, and medical education.
