I completed bachelor of science degrees in mathematics and microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics at UCLA. I studied signal transduction and targeted therapeutics as part of my PhD in molecular biology and post-doctoral work at UCLA. I then completed my medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. I am currently a fifth year resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Next year, I will complete a fellowship in advanced head and neck surgical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
