Dr. Diane Chen is a dual fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist and surgical oncologist of the head and neck. After growing up in Dallas, TX, she attended Rice University in Houston, TX to study Biochemistry & Cell Biology. She then completed her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine, was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, and stayed at Baylor to complete her otolaryngology residency. During her training, she developed a passion for surgical oncology and managing complex tumors in both adults and pediatric patients. This led her to complete a Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN in 2021 followed by a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL in 2022.

She is currently an Assistant Professor at Indiana University Dept. of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Her clinical interests are in pediatric head and neck tumors and reconstruction.
