Dr. Rafael De Cicco, MD, PhD, is a Brazilian Head and Neck Surgeon with a doctorate in Oncology from Fundação Antônio Prudente / AC Camargo Cancer Center. He is currently the Head of the Head and Neck Surgery Service at Instituto de Câncer Dr. Arnaldo, where he is actively involved in clinical care, academic training, and research.

His practice is focused on thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland, and head and neck oncologic surgery, with particular expertise in thyroid cancer management, minimally invasive procedures, remote-access and robotic surgery, and ultrasound-guided thermal ablation techniques. He also leads a private thyroid-focused practice, offering comprehensive and technology-driven care for patients with benign and malignant thyroid diseases.

Dr. De Cicco has a strong academic and educational profile, with participation in scientific publications, lectures, courses, and national and international meetings. His main areas of interest include thyroid surgery, thermal ablation, intraoperative neuromonitoring, surgical innovation, and the application of artificial intelligence in the evaluation and management of thyroid disease.
