David Zachariah Allen, MD is a Head & Neck–Endocrine Surgery Fellow at Emory University with a clinical focus on thyroid, parathyroid, and advanced head and neck oncology. His work integrates multi-omic tumor profiling, targeted therapy development, and large-scale epidemiologic analyses to address diagnostic uncertainty, improve treatment stratification, and reduce global disparities in endocrine cancer care.

He has authored 45 peer-reviewed publications, leads translational and health-services research across anaplastic and differentiated thyroid cancer, and has ongoing global surgery initiatives in Rwanda focused on neuromonitoring, ultrasound training, and sustainable capacity-building. His career goal is to develop a high-impact academic endocrine oncology program grounded in science, innovation, and mentorship.

I have completed a trial investigating the effects of Radiofrequency Ablation of Posterior Nasal Nerves on Inflammatory Cytokines, Peak Nasal Inspiratory Flow, and Nasal Blood Flow in Patients With Chronic Rhinitis. NCT05648565
