I am an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an exclusive focus on oral and head and neck oncology. Following the completion of my OMFS residency, my clinical interests evolved toward the comprehensive management of head and neck cancers, particularly oral cancer. I completed a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) at Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation, where I received rigorous training and mentorship under senior surgical oncologist Dr. B. S. Srinath.
In addition to my clinical work, I have a deep interest in molecular research in oral cancer, particularly in studying lymphatic behavior and the metastatic potential of tumors. I am actively involved in prospective molecular studies and currently serve as the chief investigator in multiple multinational, multi-institutional research collaborations.
I am also a co-investigator in several ongoing clinical trials at our institute and contribute to multiple prospective studies. My areas of special interest include the management of oral cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, and tobacco cessation. I have extensive experience in treating potentially malignant oral lesions using laser excision, as well as performing ablative surgery for locally advanced oral cancers. I remain committed to community oncology through regular participation in rural outreach programs and screening camps. Alongside a strong multidisciplinary team, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.
