Dr. Lewis Overton is a board-certified ear, nose & throat (ENT) physician with subspecialty training in head and neck cancer — including thyroid cancer, advanced skin cancer, larynx cancer, mouth and throat cancers, salivary gland cancers. He is also an expert on open and endoscopic skull base procedures. He additionally practices adult and pediatric general ENT; including ear tubes, adenoid and tonsil surgery, sinus and nasal surgery, as well as facial plastic surgery and trauma. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and completed his residency in otolaryngology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he served as the chief resident.  He is a member of the North American Skullbase Society and the American Head and Neck Society.
