Chad A. Zender, MD, FACS is a Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgeon at UC Health. His clinical practice focuses on complex head and neck cancer care, advanced reconstruction, and endocrine surgery. Dr. Zender is actively engaged in clinical outcomes research and translational work related to head and neck cancer and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is deeply committed to surgical education and mentorship at the resident and fellow level and serves in national educational roles within the specialty. Dr. Zender is also President and co-founder of Head and Neck Outreach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable surgical education and cancer care partnerships in Uganda.
