Head of Department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery, St George and Sutherland Hospital.

Master of Surgery, Sydney University 2018.

Dr Farrell has been a member of The St George Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Clinic since 1997.

In 2017 spent an intensive learning period training locally with the robot, before travelling to USA for further training on a 1:1 basis with world renowned robotic surgeon Professor J. Scott Magnuson, in order to gain his accreditation.

As part of this interest in the treatment of head and neck cancer, he is the first surgeon to be accredited for Trans Oral Robotic Surgery at St George Private Hospital and was the first surgeon to successfully treat a patient with this technique at St George.
