Biography/Statement

Dr. Rosh Sethi is a Head and Neck Surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Sethi specializes in the treatment of head and neck cancers including oral cavity and oropharynx tumors, larynx (voice box) tumors, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, salivary gland tumors, cutaneous tumors and sinonasal tumors. He is trained in advanced microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck, and transoral robotic surgery. As part of the Dana-Farber Head and Neck Cancer Treatment Center, Dr. Sethi works within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and patient-centered cancer care. Dr. Sethi’s research interests include innovation in the treatment of head and neck cancer, health outcomes around oncologic care, and cost-reduction measures for patients undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer.

Dr. Sethi graduated from Yale college. He obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and an MPH focused in quantitative methods from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his residency in Otolarygology-Head and Neck Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School, and fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Sethi is a member of the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Biography/Statement

Dr. Ofer Azoulay is an Otolaryngologist with surgical expertise in Head and Neck Cancer, robotic surgeries and head and neck microvascular reconstruction. He is Assistant Professor and Chief of Robotic and Microvascular Head and Neck reconstruction for SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and affiliated with Kings County Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center and NYPMH Brooklyn.

Dr. Azoulay earned his medical degree and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Kaplan Medical Center, Israel. He then pursuit advanced training and completed fellowship in Head and Neck and Microvascular Head and Neck reconstruction at NYU Langone Health, NY.

Dr. Azoulay main clinical and research interest are; head and neck cancer and reconstruction; thyroid and parathyroid; salivary glands; skin cancer; facial nerve paralysis; facial reanimation and laryngeal diseases.

I am a dedicated consultant head & neck oncosurgeon/ reconstruction surgeon / oral & maxillofacial surgeon with enriched experience & expertise of nearly 6 years in handling difficult cases, studying the case history & finding out medical solutions. Over the years, I have performed more than 700 major / supra major onco surgeries.

I am an academically astute with credentials as MDS; MFDS RCPS (Glasgow); FDS RCS(Lon); FHNCS; FADI; FIIHNO; and FIFHNOS, U.S, presently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Saveetha University. Dr. Markiewicz is Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, at the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. He also holds adjuncts appointments as Professor in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Surgery, at the Jacob’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Science, is an attending surgeon in the Department of Head and Neck/Reconstructive Surgery at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is Co-director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team, at the Craniofacial Center of Western New York. Dr. Markiewicz earned his Dental Degree at the University at Buffalo, and Medical Degree at Oregon Health and Science University where he also completed his General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. He obtained a Master’s of Public Health from Harvard University and completed a Fellowship in Clinical Investigation at The Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Massachusetts. Dr. Markiewicz completed fellowships in Pediatric Cleft and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, in Orlando, Florida, and in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, in Jacksonville Florida.
