Biography/Statement

I am a Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgeon who has been in practice for 15 years.  I am the Chief of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery at New York University Langone Health.  I am also the Director of the Head and Neck Center as well as the Director of the Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery.

My practice is dedicated to the care of head and neck cancer patients with an emphasis on restoration of form and function in this population.  I also perform minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland surgery.

Biography/Statement

Dr. Goodman is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and specializes in Head & Neck surgical oncology with functional reconstruction. After residency at the George Washington University he completed fellowship in microvascular surgery at the University of Miami, also specializing in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS), skin cancers, and surgical treatment of salivary diseases, including salivary endoscopy. He was assigned to the National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) where he learned several acupuncture techniques under Richard Niemtzow, MD. Areas of research interest include: HPV-related cancers, cancer immunotherapy, and salivary gland diseases. He is a member of the AAOHNS, AHNS, and the Society for Integrative Oncology. He sits on several national committees including AAOHNS CIM and AHNS Survivorship.

Biography/Statement

Dr. Christopher MKL Yao completed his medical degree and residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto  and subsequently completed a 2 year fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has since joined the multidisciplinary head and neck oncology team at Fox Chase Cancer Center were he provides care the full spectrum of head and neck surgical oncology, as well as subspecialty care for patients with oropharyngeal cancers, and microvascular reconstruction.

Biography/Statement

Dr. Rosh Sethi is a Head and Neck Surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Sethi specializes in the treatment of head and neck cancers including oral cavity and oropharynx tumors, larynx (voice box) tumors, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, salivary gland tumors, cutaneous tumors and sinonasal tumors. He is trained in advanced microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck, and transoral robotic surgery. As part of the Dana-Farber Head and Neck Cancer Treatment Center, Dr. Sethi works within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and patient-centered cancer care. Dr. Sethi’s research interests include innovation in the treatment of head and neck cancer, health outcomes around oncologic care, and cost-reduction measures for patients undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer.

Dr. Sethi graduated from Yale college. He obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and an MPH focused in quantitative methods from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his residency in Otolarygology-Head and Neck Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School, and fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Sethi is a member of the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
