Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is actively seeking a BC/BE Head and Neck Surgeon to join our hospital-employed, salaried position at our multi-specialty surgical practice. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a strong team, with multiple interests. With a strong regional referral base of 500,000 plus patients, this is a great chance to develop your skills at the regions only tertiary care and Level II Trauma center.

The Role:

• Flexible schedules and exceptional work/life balance with a 1:5 call rotation
• Well-established practice with no administrative duties or capital investment requirements
• Average of 18 office patients a day
• A broad range of sub-specialty support (including neurosurgery and plastics)
• Join an amazing team of ENT surgeons, as well as other fellowship trained Head & Neck Oncology surgeon
• General ENT work and participation in the call rotation is required but you will also be supported by a full staff of Otolaryngologists, Physician Assistants and a fellowship trained skull-based neurosurgeon
• Close partnership with the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute which is one of only two cancer centers in Maine to be a part of a formal collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Care. This state-of-the-art center offers a partnership with Jackson Laboratory to provide genetic testing, full-service cancer genetic counseling clinic, excellent surgical support, multiple disease specific tumor boards and all-inclusive services located onsite.
