5th Avenue Otolaryngology is actively recruiting for an exciting new position to join our New York City based practice.

5th Avenue Otolaryngology is a specialty practice based out of Manhattan that prides itself on providing best-in-class care for conditions related to the head and neck region. Currently, the group consists of 6 fellowship-trained otolaryngologists and is seeking to expand services to include generalists. The group would also support the growth and development of subspecialty trained surgeons looking to provide tertiary services. The practice serves the largest catchment area outside of Manhattan forging relationships with health systems serving an area of 3.2 million individuals. This exciting opportunity will allow a surgeon to foster and grow a reputable practice and presence providing invaluable care to patients in need. We serve locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island. Consideration can be given to geographic preferences in order to foster a healthy work-life balance. We offer a competitive compensation package with a base salary of $450,000 and healthy incentive and bonus structure.

Job Description

The position includes both operating and clinical responsibilities across three area hospitals and private offices throughout the city. In addition to a hospital-affiliated practice, the employee will also spend 1 to 2 days a week in an upscale Upper East Side office located on 5th Avenue. No primary call is required. Residents and Midlevel extenders provide in-house coverage year-round. Extensive benefits package with competitive salary structure, in addition to full malpractice coverage. The position offers academic affiliation.

Qualifications

MD/DO from an approved Medical/Osteopathy school

Board Certified or Board Eligible Candidates

New York State License

Strong commitment to serve multicultural and indigent patient population
